A districtwide commitment to literacy, voice, and community, now expanded to 200 curated titles for Grades 9-12. Brooklyn North Reads brings students, educators, and families together through the power of reading, from classics like 1984 and Beloved to contemporary favorites like The Hate U Give. Across our schools, classrooms engage in shared texts, thoughtful discussions, and creative projects that inspire critical thinking and connection, centering children and leading with love.
